We have a client in Olney, IL who is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to partner with this facility in building a high quality, full-service program in the Southeastern Illinois region. This is a physician-led, vertically integrated health system that includes more than 500 physicians across 80 different specialties and subspecialties providing patient-focused, world-class care. 

 

 

DETAIL



  • Current practice includes medical and sports orthopedics with the opportunity to expand services to cover more complex cases such as total joint replacements and shoulders

  • Call will be shared with one other Orthopaedic Surgeon and one Physician Assistant

  • Surgeries will be performed at a 104-bed HFAP accredited facility with 5 OR’s that serves 8 Southeastern Illinois counties (109,000+ individuals)

  • This facility is a part of the flagship hospital, based in East Central Illinois with a service area of 1.4 million residents

  • This facility has a strong outpatient therapy services program that includes home health. “Swing Bed” inpatient rehabilitation is also available for patients that are not ready to return home.

  • Block surgical time and clinic with additional time for hospital rounding and consultation daily

  • Must be willing to live in and be an active part of the community

  • This facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including: General, Oncology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Urological, Podiatric, and Bronchoscopes

Required Qualifications :


  • Board Certified/Board Eligible

  • Experience doing total joint replacements (knees & hips) required

  • MD or DO required

  • Licensed to practice in the state of Illinois or eligible to obtain prior to hire date
