Job Summary




Experienced front desk medical practice receptionist and secretary


Some overall job responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Responsible for greeting patients with a smile and friendly attitude, check-in, obtaining accurate demographics, collecting co-pays/balances, insurance verification, scheduling follow-up appointments, answering multi line phone system, chart preparation, scanning/indexing medical records and other duties as assigned.

  • Must be highly organized, able to adapt to change, able to work under busy and/or stressful situations while ensuring the best possible experience for our patients and able to work with physician teams to ensure proper clinic flow.

  • Good writing and communication skills.

  • Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Answers and directs phone calls in a proficient and professional manner

  • Works closely and communicates appropriately with physicians, staff and other departments

  • Possesses EMR and computer skills for both financials and clinicals

  • Checks & stocks office supplies and equipment


Required Qualifications :


Knowledge and Skills Required



  • One year experience in health care setting preferred

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Proficiency in computers and EMR systems

  • Ability to work with others within a team

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
